Welcome to The Body Studio
The Body Studio is a light and airy Pilates studio based in the quintessential Victorian seaside town of Cromer on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. It was founded to provide a place in which to share the love and knowledge Sharon has for the life changing practices and benefits of Pilates and Yamuna.
Pilates
With Classical Pilates at the core, The Body Studio uses Pilates apparatus, including the Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair to offer bespoke, challenging, effective and enjoyable classes.
Yamuna Body Rolling
Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is a proven effective weight bearing method using inflated specialist Yamuna balls of varying sizes to help release restrictions held within the body.
Yamuna Face Ball
If it’s full escapism and deep relaxation you require, the Yamuna Face Ball treatment melts away stress and relieves tension, allowing you to completely switch off.

Both disciplines focus on the power of breath work, the mind-body connection and correct alignment to create length, strength and fluidity in the body and deep relaxation in the mind. They can be used individually or combined. It’s your space, your class, and your choice.

Each session is tailored to you and the specific needs of your body. Although Sharon plans and prepares each session in advance, nothing is set in stone. With a relaxed and flexible approach, Sharon can adapt any session to how you and your body presents and feels on the day.

Hello, I’m Sharon. I’m a Comprehensive Pilates instructor and Yamuna Practitioner and I’m here to support, educate and inspire you to help you improve your strength, balance and flexibility through mindful movement, and hands on treatments.
My intension is for you to experience the joy in movement, working to bring symmetry and balance to your body to support the activities you love doing in your everyday life for longer. Essential for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life, movement provides both physical and emotional benefits, and when you feel strong from within, anything is possible.
